The parade in Puno, Peru continued until sundown when it began to rain. Of course they did not want to risk damage to their costumes, some of them representing a household's income for an entire year to produce. I am sure, had it not been for the rain, they would be parading until dawn. I hope you have enjoyed my photos of the Puno Merchants Association parade as much as I did. Alas, it is time to bid farewell to Puno, Peru. What a special time we had at 12,507 feet above sea level.
