MY FIVE 40 | Photos | Travel | Peru | Puno Region | Puno Parade

The parade in Puno, Peru continued until sundown when it began to rain. Of course they did not want to risk damage to their costumes, some of them representing a household's income for an entire year to produce. I am sure, had it not been for the rain, they would be parading until dawn. I hope you have enjoyed my photos of the Puno Merchants Association parade as much as I did. You can see videos in 'MY FIVE 19' and 'MY FIVE 20'

Alas, it is time to bid farewell to Puno, Peru. What a special time we had at 12,507 feet above sea level.
