Our lovely tour guide Edith introduced us to His Honor the Distinguished Mayor of the Uros Community to be her assistant for the demonstration. He brought out props to demonstrate how the Totoro reeds are used, and how many uses they have. We were greatly honored to meet with the Mayor after the demonstration.
Not sure how they make much of a meal out of the fish in the lake. They are rather small.
