These floating islands on the lake are made from Totoro reeds. And so is a lot more! I hope you enjoy my photo series on the Uros Islands of Lake Titikaka. Even the sightseeing boats are made from the reeds. ItThey are for tourists only. The islanders all have small metal skiffs with outboard engines for their household needs.
