The current #fototema (photo theme) by @tazi is "lines" and I am happy to submit my entry here. When it comes to unusual lines, curves and shapes in general, few places can compete with Barcelona - the famous Catalan metropolis where Antoni Gaudi, the genius of modernist architecture, produced one architectural masterpiece after another.
I have already posted about Casa Mila, Park Guell and Sagrada Familia and I think all of these astonishing landmarks would easily qualify for the current photo theme but since I have already written about them, I decided to go for another amazing work by Gaudi that is full of lines - the iconic Casa Batllo.
The locals call this house Casa del Ossos which translates as the House of Bones and the reason for this spooky nickname is quite obvious - the house kind of looks as if it was made from bones and skulls. Gaudi completed this building in 1904 and it has been one of the most popular, visited and photographed houses in Barcelona ever since.

@tazi pro tento týden vypsal velmi zajímavé #fototema "linie" a já u této příležitosti zalovil ve svém barcelonském albu. Barcelona je totiž pověstná impozantní architekturou katalánského modernisty Antoniho Gaudiho, který v tomto městě stvořil celou řadu mistrovských děl doslova překypujících neobvyklými tvary, linkami a barvami. O některým z nich už jsem psal (výše najdete odkazy) a dnes přicházím s fotkou dalšího z Gaudiho "majstrštyků" - domem zvaným Casa Batllo, kterému místní ze zjevných důvodů přezdívají "Dům Kostí". Snad se vám budou tyto "linie" líbit :)
