This morning I visited the historic place in town called Kobarid.
On the hill by the town, there is a church from 17 century which Italians renovated and transformed into a charnel house.
They collect the bones of more than 7000 fallen soldiers on the Soca front in the world war one.
The church on the top of the hill.
Here is the last of the 14 stations of the Cross by the road leading to the ossuary.
The impressive stone staircase.
Inside the St.Anton's church.
There are some graves even on the outside of the walls.
My poor artistic photo attempt.
Part of Kobarid.
A small war museum by the ossuary.
The Monument from the different angle.
I hope you learned something new today on steemit.
Stick around for more, my friends.
