Just across the bridge of Copenhagen, Denmark, lies beautiful Malmö, the 3rd largest city of Sweden and the 5th of whole Scandinavia, and -for football fans- the birth place of Zlatan Ibrahimovic ;)
We went with @creutzy for a 24hour city break celebrating our 2year anniversary so it had to be fancy! :D We stayed at Hotel Scandic Triangeln, which was kind of medium for a 4star hotel but the view as you'll see was amazing!!!
I loved Malmö from the first time I visited, when I moved to Copenhagen. A few days after moving I took the train because I wanted to see what's there...and I keep going since, for the last 3 years :D
Obviously, the slideshow would be incomplete without the Turning Torso, the tallest building in Scandinavia since 2005! As strange as it seems it is a residential building of 54 floors, with 147 apartments, designed by Santiago Calatrava. It is actually based on one of his sculptures called 'Twisting Torso' ;)
Enjoy and don't forget to smile!
Some night shots to start with...
The view from our room, the 18th floor of Scandic Triangeln...
The Turning Torso!
Here's @creutzy, fully equipped and ready to work! ;)
And last but not least, the Øresund Bridge, which connects Denmark and Sweden, with a total length of about 8 km - so close!
