She started to plan for this portrait photo session a few months ago.She already knew the model as we had previously another indoor session but my plans were for outdoor, this time.
The hard work was not to photograph but… to tackle all the details needed to set up for a successful photo session. She needed a place so She started looking around my town for a secret spot where They wouldn’t be too much disturbed. And it came out after driving about 40 km: a wheat field just next to the forest.She used the forest for the shadows so that the model wouldn’t stay in the hot summer sun.
She planned the photo session for a evening so that the light would be the greatest. They had two full hours to take photos until the sun went down. Also She wanted to shoot in a field of green wheat or merry poppies but since the poppies were not so generous with their presence She stayed with the wheat.
It’s always more fun to take photos together with another photographer. She chose to create an event on Facebook and advertise about this photo session and a few photographers joined me. Although it happened to be more crowded than She thought, they became my friends – what can be more beautiful than that?
She is a landscape photographer but She do also events and portraits.
