Krka National Park covers a total area of 109 km² which is protected by Croatian Parliament back in 1997. The Krka River is 72.5 km long and has 7 waterfalls with a total drop in altitude of 242 meters. It springs in the foothills of the Dinara mountain, just 2.5km from Knin. Scientist say that this area is natural and karst phenomenon. Since I was on my way to Makarska, I didn't have the chance to visit waterfalls but the pics still look amazing :)
