Hi everyone,
I know that it has been a while since Holi, but I had a few snaps that I just want to share, These were taken in Toulouse France during the Holi festival.
The Indian community here in Toulouse got together and organized the event, I was very happy to participate. There was a lot of happiness and interaction with random people coming up to you and throwing colors one you and at the same time offer a happy smile saying "happy Holi!".
Holi is popularly known as the Indian "festival of spring", the "festival of colors", or the
"festival of love". The festival signifies the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.
The festival also celebrates the beginning of a good spring harvest season.
I really enjoyed it!
