Hi everyone! So I went out again yesterday with my canon 700d 18-55mm to practice my manual settings, and would like some cc on my pics if possible! It was quite sunny for a change so depending on tree coverage etc I was using shutter speeds of about 1/125 to 1/250 and about f4-6 on most shots. I have however realised that I really enjoy taking pics of flowers etc which show detail and 'texture' in the photo, which I do not feel like I am able to do with my kit lens - which lens do you all use for close ups and also of birds etc as I couldn't get close enough before I scared them off! Think I was almost touching the plants and even then they seem off focus to me?? Any tips and cc much appreciated! All pics unedited.
