I was heading into a cenote (swimming hole) in the Mayan Riviera region of Mexico, and as we entered the grounds this HUGE reptile walked out of the shrubs and climbed up this tree to bask in the sun. I couldn't believe his colours!
This Green Iguana was easily at least one meter long.
Taken with a Nikon D750 and Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.
