St Peter's Pool in Malta is an awesome place and just a short hike away from the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. You can find some shade from the scorching sun here at any time of the day. A good idea would be to go there on Sunday when there is a fish market in Marsaxlokk (ever since medieval times), buy some fresh fish and beer so you can do a fish barbecue. Leave no trace behind!
