Today I am taking you to a magical place called Vagator Beach. This beach is definitely my favorite of all time, though I haven't seen all of them yet, unfortunately.
Hoy os voy a llevar a un sitio mágico llamado Vagator Beach. Esta playa es sin ninguna duda mi favorita, aunque no las he llegado a ver todas.
Vagator Beach is located in Goa, which is the smallest state of India and of the most popular among tourists. We spent there roughly 5 weeks, 5 weeks on the northern part and another week on the southern part. Although both of them has its advantages, North Goa was our favorite by far. It is so easy-going and laid back with beautiful food and amazing scenery.
Vagator Beach está en Goa, que es el estado más pequeño y más popular para los turistas en India. Pasamos allí alrededor de 5 semanas, 4 semanas en el norte y 1 semana en el sur. Aunque ambos norte y sur tienen cosas estupendas, nosotros nos quedamos con el norte de Goa sin lugar a dudas. Es muy fácil moverte por allí y disfrutar de buena comida y increíble paisaje.
We visited most of the beaches during this time (Anjuna, Calangute, Chapora, Arambol, Ashrem, Kalacha) and truly, most of them were awesome.
Visitamos la mayoría de las playas durante este tiempo (Anjuna, Calangute, Chapora, Arambol, Ashrem, Kalacha) y casi todas ellas eran asombrosas.
But none of them could compare to Vagator Beach. Actually, the best part was the end of Vagator beach which was naturally secluded with huge rocks and it was almost always empty. Our most regular beach companions were the cows, who usually were very friendly. Although, I remember one cow who must have been in a bad mood and just did not want leave us anyone alone. She was bothering a family and the father had a fight with her and basically made his point with a firm right straight punch on the head. It was very funny and a bit scary at the same time, but worked well.
Pero ninguna de ellas era comparable a Vagator Beach. En realidad, lo mejor de esta playa se encontraba al final de la misma y estaba escondida detrás de unas rocas que había que atravesar y casi siempre estaba vacía. LA mayor parte del tiempo nuestros únicos acompañantes eran las vaquitas que normalmente eran muy amistosas. Aunque recuerdo un día, una de ellas no estaba muy contenta y no nos quería dejar en paz. Estaba molestando a una familia y el padre empezó a pelear con ella y le dio un puñetazo en la cabeza para dejar las cosas claras. Fue divertido y un poco triste a la vez, pero funciono.
Otherwise no issues. We were just lying in the sand, reading, having a bath in the water and at the end of the day we were enjoying those amazing sunsets. Truly magical.
Aparte de eso no tuvimos ningún problema. Nos dedicábamos a tumbarnos en la arena, leer, darnos un bañito y al final del día disfrutábamos de las maravillosas puestas de sol. Verde de la mente mágico.
I strongly recommend everyone to pay a visit, the dry season is from the end of October. Just now, have a look at the tickets and just go.
Recomiendo a todo el mundo visitar Goa en la estación seca, que empieza a finales de octubre. Échale un vistazo a los vuelos ahora mismo, estamos en temporada buena.
