This image was taken in the town of Guyra on the Northern Tablelands of NSW, Australia, on 17 July 2015. It was an icy cold day, hovering around 0 - 2 degrees celsius for most of the day (cold by Australian standards). With the early morning snow turning to an icy sludge in the late morning, early afternoon, a rather gloomy, yet starkly beautiful, scene of the main street was presented.
