Lake Poperechnoye is located in the Altai Mountains at an altitude of 1885 meters in the Altai Republic in Russia. This is one of the most beautiful lakes of Altai with turquoise water. The lake is located on the territory of the Katun Biosphere Reserve. On the way to the lake, there is an 8-meter waterfall. Several small streams flow into the lake.
