Off-road roads in the Highlands - great example of how amazing they can be - steep slides, river crossings, amazing landscapes around...
When I was entering the Highlands for the first time I had a big stress about the roads - I have read many different stories about people who stuck there - because of the rivers, deep and fast glacial waters, soft ground, big boulders on the roads...
I was driving through this vast and unpleasant land for almost 10 hours during a first day of my visit in the Interior. I was focused, many times scared, but in a big awe about all I am seeing and experiencing.
Fantastic - really fantastic adventure!
Traveling around the Iceland is one thing, but exploring the interior - The Highlands - is totally different level of it!
Fuck! I must come back there!!! ;)
