The opening ceremony of the 30th SEA GAMES hosted by our country Philippines is about to begin in a few minutes. Such huge event participated by various countries in the Southeast Asia makes me feel proud and happy for my country.
Organizers assured that the ceremony will showcase world class production and Filipino performers. This is Philippines' 4th time to host the event and will also be the first time that a SEA GAMES opening ceremony will be held indoor.
Days before this big event, there had been a lot of issues like the "kikiam" (a Filipino street food) being served to the athletes but it was then cleared by the chef that it is actually chicken sausage and lots of fake news circling around the television and social media. It's funny how media is trying to put down the event by publishing misleading news but everything seems fine now since they're already reporting good news.
Anyway, good luck to all countries and I wish Filipino athletes will be at their best and get lots of gold medals!
