Raising children involves making so many tough judgement calls. It's a real balancing act, because you have to support them while preparing them for an unfair world. Yet no matter how well we raise them, there is still no knowing whether they will develop into confident, well rounded adults. Even a well loved child can end up going off the rails and taking drugs.
Some well written thoughts here. Knowing what I know now I don't entirely agree with all the suggestions, but they're great in balance.
