Omurice is a Western influence of omelette and rice found in Japanese cuisine. One such familiar dish would be Oyakodon found in most Japanese restaurants. Omurice is similar to our nasi goreng pattaya, which is a thin layer of egg wrapped around fried rice and topped with chilli sauce.

Simple and pleasant decor, serves free water, smoking and non-smoking areas.

At Omulab, they have cleverly used the omelette as a show stopper before you dig into your meal.
Once served, you then cut open the omelette and oozes of fluffy cooked egg falls beautifully on top of your plate.

Their best seller is the Demi-glace Omurice which is beef bacon bits fried rice with omelette. The portion is generous and would typically be enough for most patrons.

The Mentaiko is chicken fried rice with pepper surrounded by Mentaiko sauce, very rich.

There's non rice items paired with eggs as well the standard Japanese snacks on the menu. An interesting dessert would be the omu style mochi - allow at least 15-20mins for preparation.

I would visit again, the eggs are well cooked and the dish is value for money. Service is good and attentive even to patrons seated outside.
