Night crabbing and sir turtle!

Aloha!

Today, I'd like to take you on a fun family adventure of night crabbing on the west side of North Shore; on the beautiful island of Oahu. Life, no matter where you live, can get a little overwhelming. On this weekend our ohana went for a little rest and relaxation on the country side beach house.

After the day's beach water play fun, we waited for night time to go family beach crabbing.
Giant crab; hehe!

It's dark. Yes! It's finally dark!!! We are so very ready to go crabbing...

Flashlights and friends needed. Ok, everyone, grab a flashlight and a partner. We are heading out to the beach dark adventure. Please keep your noise down! LOL, kinda hard to do on a creepy dark adventure, so much excitement!

You wanna know how rude us humans can be?! We don't mean to be so insensitive or disruptive but we have to use the flashlights for light to see those beautiful creatures..,

Poor crabs. It freezes when flashlights are pointing directly on it. Aimed directly with flashlights, it freezes or put it away and be in pitch black darkeness; you choose.

Oh, finally, we spotted a resting turtle. Again, hard to see without flashlights. Sorry sir turtle. Eventually, we all tried to sit quietly with the turtle and aim one flashlight indirectly nearb as not to Irritate sir turtle. We so loved it.

It got irritated anyways and swammed back into the warm ocean water. Again, we are sorry but totally mesmerized.

We tried to be quiet and respectful but it was very hard to do. Well, friends, we headed back along the beach to our beach house. Along the way, we had to look out for more crabs...,

Look, another crab running away! Hehe! I think we are ready to leave the beach for some roasting s'mores on a campfire...

That was our family night of crabbing. And we got so lucky to witness sir turtle relaxing on the beach. I hope you've enjoyed our family adventure. Until next time, have a wonderful day.

Aloha!
