It's been an incredible nine weeks, hectic, stressful, challenging. There wasn't much time to think, although I think I did make a few friends. Of course I'm not doing this to make friends, I'm doing this to have a better future.

I feel as though a cruel reality is that there's no winning in life. Much of the time it seems to be about who can handle the most stress, who can sustain and survive the best. Surviving gracefully. Key word being surviving. Surviving isn't a cute thing, it's a necessity thing.

Getting somewhere in life usually takes a bit of hardship and/or pain to some degree. Even winning the lottery often will come with a cost most of us can't see. If you win the lottery there's more taxes, a new lifestyle, trying to maintain that lifestyle, friends and family wanting to get a piece or taste of that good life or whatnot. Plus probably several other things I can't see.

But trying to succeed does outweigh barely getting by, even with the added stress and pressure. Success gives one options, and dignity. It helps others around you and sets a good example.

It's not easy whatsoever, but I think I'll keep striving for the better here. I have a long way to go, but I hope all the lessons of the past 14 years and now the past nine weeks will give me enough wisdom and motivation. There's so many things I wish I could have done differently, done better. But all I have is now and I have a lot of life ahead of me. Past mistakes can frustrate me, and to an extent they always will. But I just have to keep moving forward, regardless of the pain.

I've been praying a lot lately, and I believe God has been with me throughout these nine weeks. I'm grateful and will keep trying to reach my potential.

Hive on folks.
