Some of the largest trees on earth exist in the Sequoia National Park, standing up to 80 metres high and nearly 8 metres wide, ageing up to 1700 years old. They are too massive to be blown over in the wind, and their bark is thick and rich in tannins, which protect them against fire and insect damage. The vibration and energy that this place emanates is indescribable and you can't help but feel that all you experience is so minuscule when you are amongst these wise giants. For all they have seen and for all they have experienced, I could not even begin to imagine.
