East Coast Tales: Short But Sweet

We're back with another addition to our east coast tales segment! Daniel and I had been planning to do another hike for a few days but the weather and the timing just wasn't correlating properly. So when we finally did get a day that meant we could hike in warm enough weather at a decent time of day, we took full advantage.

We decided to do a hike that would be a little challenging, full of beautiful scenery, yet still short enough so that we had enough time to enjoy ourselves and the views around us, without having to head back out the trail in the dark.

We had just begun the trail, and after both of us punching two long days at work, we were already beginning to feel tired. However, cutting the first corner allowed us to lay our eyes on a stunning sight of magnificent coastline. Newfoundland has many variations of this sight to see, however, even when you live here, each time you see it you have to just stop and take it all in.

As we continued on down the trail, Daniel kept busy with trying to take (several) of the perfect shot of the image he was attempting to capture in that moment.

Although we kept this hike short and sweet, it was definitely one of my favorite ones we have done so far. I can't wait to go back and go even further in to see what other views the trail holds!
