#687 - Batad shots for today.

Greetings on a Thursday evening fellow Hiveans. It's still gloomy here a bit right now but the rest of the day was a mix of sun and clouds. As usual for me I had to wake up before five in the morning to prepare breakfast for my son before he wakes up at five and prepare for six. He left around six thirty, he joined his cousin and they were driven to school by his uncle who is also on his way to work. But there are time that my son still has to commute like during Wednesday because his uncle is off to work at six which is too early for him so he just ride the jeepneys instead. Going home he has the option to ride once again on jeepneys but sometimes he decides to walk as an exercise also and to save his fare and use it to buy something else like food in the stores nearby our place.

For our photos today here we have a bee a bumble bee to be exact and the critter was a bit busy with its business of collecting the nectars out of these daisy like zinnia flowers which are abundantly growing at the viewing area which is almost an hour of walk from where we were staying for the night.

A portion of the local residence houses in the middle of the rice plantations. Almost all the people living here are relatives by blood and that is why they are very close to each others in here. They do really know everyone in this remote village. I have been here twice with the wife but we haven't stayed yet in this area because it's in the lower part. We wanted to have an overlooking view when we wake up so we stayed in the upper homestays.

This is another view of the small community in the middle of the rice terraces and the shot was taken from the house we were staying at. I couldn't have gotten this shot if we were not on that place. The view there is really breath taking even more when you are having a meal and just looking at this lovely sight.

On our way to the viewing area where there's plenty of zinnias and bees. We stopped by for the moment so I can take some photos and this is a good one which shows a good portion of the overall rice terraces and some of the local residences. The fields were empty of rice plants because it's still off season of planting
