#608 - Hulugan and Hidden water falls for Sunday.
A blessed evening to you all dear Hiveans. I hope all is doing well with your love ones. Had my shift early on today at six and still managed to cook breakfast for us. I boiled half kilo of pork and mixed it with some pechay vegetables. There is also s crab in the fridge so we boiled it too. Then we ate at nine in the morning for our breakfast. Had a full stomach that time.😂
Now for our daily shots we got here a frame when we just arrived at the Hulugan water falls which is the main attraction of the trekking. This area is remote and there's no phone signal also even at the barrio where we rode a tricycle to get here. There was a rain in the past few days when we got here so the trekking path is really muddy and slippery so we were provided with walking sticks to help us during the travel.
The water falls is high as several storey building. It could be around at least ten or lower and the mist from the water can reach us from a distance already. The water was cold too and a bit muddy which is expected because of the rains in the previous days.
This is the first water falls where the fresh water from the mountains pass through. This is called Hidden falls because it is hidden behind another small water falls. The water seems clear here but there's a sign of mud with it. We didn't dip or got wet with the water here because it's slippery. We just went near the water for some photos.😆
And back to the main water falls which is Hulugan. There were no visitors back then because it is a weekday which we wanted so we could be alone except with the guide and take our time in. But eventually there was a group of bikers that arrived and also shared the waterfalls with us. They even brought their lunch and some bottle of brandy to share.
