Hive Philippines Travel and Nature Photography #556 - by Allmonitors

#556 - Batad shots for today.

A pleasant Thursday evening once again beautiful people of Hive. It was a busy day of work today then after that I accompanied my mother-in-law to her sister house because they received a baggage from abroad which was sent by their sister in law. The package is compose of mostly household items and shirts something like that. They have divided it amongst them and we were there to pick up my mother in law share of the package. Then we went home and along the way, made a stop on one of their relatives who also happened to have a share from the baggage.

For our photos today we got here an amphitheater view of the rice terraces which are currently not planted because the planting season is still in a few months. That is during the summer because the temperature is suitable according to the local we had a drink with.

We got here a bumble bee aggressively approached and started to gather the pollens of this daisy flower. Blurred are the rice terraces.

We could see here some of the houses of the locals resting in the middle of the field area. There is a man walking along the concrete path of the rice fields.

A shot of some of the empty rice fields while we were on our way going to the view point which is at the end of the mountain side. In less that an hour of walking while taking photos we finally reached that viewing area.

Another shot of the amphitheater area of the rice terraces while we were on our way to the viewing area. The mountain was carved by human hands to make it their source of food and the rice serves them well throughout the season.
