#545 - Batad shots for today.
A gloomy Wednesday evening dear Hivers. It has been this for a couple of days now and we can't go out for a quick walk so we do the exercises at home just to you know wake our sleepy aging muscles 😁.
For today's photos we got here several shots when we went to Batad. This first one was taken when we were on our way down climbing from the viewing point. We could see steps of ladders in concrete while we were descending and upon us is a magnificent view of the rice terraces.
Captured this pink flower which is amongst many daisies which are visited by bees. There is a bee flying nearby on the left and only its wing was captured.
Local houses in the middle of the rice fields. Life here is slow and silent and most of all peaceful. There is already a presence of internet in some household here when we visited so there is a big chance that by next year most guest houses will have internet already for the visitors.
A breath taking view. I was still in awe the second time we went here.
A closer look on the steps of some of the rice terraces which currently do not have rice planted. Planting season starts this coming summer according to the locals because that's when the weather is warmer and the best chance to have a bountiful harvest.
