#363 - The Tappiya falls of Batad.

It's a rainy Sunday here in the Philippines, it started raining in the evening and went through out the next day. I was supposed to do the laundry again during Sabbath day but I have to postpone it tomorrow morning instead.

Speaking of rain water, I would like yo share some photos we took during our visit in Batad. We went for a walk going to their famous falls named Tappiya falls. We have to go around some mountainous terrain to get here. I was still practicing my photography skills back then where I have to just point and shoot at something that is why it is not detailed enough or should I say the frames lack some of the required parts that should have been captured to make the shot look better.

The walk going here is also difficult especially if you haven't have enough training in walking or hiking. Our knees were challenged by the steep path leading to this waterfalls. When we arrived before the falls, there is a nipa hut where we could rest for some time before moving on again and that's where I took this photo. There are several people already there doing their moments and record it in their devices. Some taking photos while some dipping in the cold water coming from the mountains.

As we have seen in the first photo, we now have a good idea how immensely big this waterfalls is. No one has the courage to go where the water falls is because it's not only deep but the pressure of the water coming down from a great high will literally push those swimmers before getting to it. Perhaps if one has a diving gear then it will be possible to get there. So posing for s photo is a good idea here as well. The water is really cold too so we only dip for a while and didn't last long.

Some tourists who have been here before or the locals have stack up several stones which is also used by everyone as a background in their photos. These stones were seen also in the first photo above.
