Do you presently have an RV or converted van that you live in or travel in? If not, have you thought about just getting out, hitting the pavement and seeking that next adventure? If you do have an RV or are considering one, you might want to consider joining an RV Club. RV Travel Clubs do have some benefits that might appeal to you and save you some money.

Some of the benefits available for Good Sam RV Travel Club Members:
Fuel Discounts – at the time of this writing, Pilot and Flying J locations are offering 5 cents per gallon off for gas and 8 cents off for diesel. That may not sound like a lot, but when you start filling 50 gallon tanks on RV’s and you’re on a long road trip at 6-12 miles per gallon, that can add up pretty quickly, certainly enough for a meal now and then.
Free road trip planning – you can use RV Club’s private online software to map out your routes making for a more enjoyable trip experience.
Free dump station access – by using Camping World SuperCenters that offer dump service. It’s my understanding that Good Sam and Camping World are affiliated.
Park Discounts – as of this writing a 10% discount can be realized on admission and parking fees to many National Parks in the USA and Canada.
NOTE: If you are a senior citizen, you can buy a senior pass to National Parks in the USA, I believe for $80.00 and it’s good for life and will give you access to all the National Parks in the USA. Please check with the National Park Service to insure this is still the policy.
Parts Discounts – are available for your RV on parts and accessories. (Check with Camping World for discount and locations.)
Insurance Discounts – as of this writing, members were also saving on insurance on their RV’s. How much of a discount is not known, but it’s certainly worth a phone call to your insurance agent or Good Sam Club.
NOTE: If you have a van, it may not qualify for these insurance discounts. However, it’s my understanding that in some states a van that has been converted to an RV can qualify as an RV and that could save you money on tags & registration costs as well as saving you money on insurance.
