It can get busy a little further north at the other end of the village, but generally not silly busy. We've such a long stretch of beach here with parking at either end and a little in the middle, people can spread out.
Yes, there's a small little gang that I often see swimming in the mornings. Brave souls, I think the go all year round as long as the sea conditions are safe enough.
