A two-day nature trip on Pandin Lake and Bato Springs in San Pablo, Laguna

Ever wondered how does it feel to eat good food while floating in a breathtaking lake? Well, that would be one of the best experiences I could ever tell to any person right now, as I've come to enjoy that adventure just recently.

Hello Steemit friends, here's my very first blog on the things that I come across to through my course of day to day living. This blog would be about my recent trip, actually a two day trip, on the two of the gems of San Pablo, Laguna, Philippines. I uploaded several snaps that I took during my adventure, as I really want to share my experience to you guys. I hope you enjoy this simple read.

As for the first half of our two day trip, the first location that we went to was Bato Springs Resort in San Pablo, Laguna. Getting there was not really hard even for the fact that it rests somehow near on the outskirts of the city, for there were so much guides on how to get to the place, and also, Google Maps and Waze will always be your bestfriends during in times of need (promotion not intended). Anyway, once you've arrived at the place, you will be greeted with so much beauty of the place. One might say that this remark is an overestimation, superlative to a degree, but as what they always say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder right? And I, myself really find the place quite marvelous. I really appreciate the beauty of nature, and this one really has a lot of it.

Here, you can dive into a spring of unfathomable blackness and sheer coldness. Plunged yourself on depths that would never be fathom by a single glance, and that was always part of the fun on swimming on this spring. You will never know how deep or shallow you will crash unto. In totality, I very much enjoyed my trip in this place.

The second half was no less than the first, in fact I enjoyed it much more actually. This next one was my trip on Pandin Lake in San Pablo, Laguna. In a very short gist, this place is a lake which people can visit to enjoy food. Customers can rent rafts, totally secured and controlled by trained individuals by the management, and then they could enjoy their food while floating on the center of the very deep body of water. I was very ecstatic to reach the destination, but unlike the latter one, this was not that simple to go to, but do not falter, even if the way in getting to the place is quite harder to an extent; because of the travel itself, the guides and directions are as much available as the previous destination. But when you arrived at this place, all the trekking and effort will all be worth it. The place was really bewildering to feast your eyes into. You will be mesmerized by its beauty, the lake itself. To top it off, how they managed to turn such beauty into a very exhilarating experience, eating and enjoying fine dining, was a truly remarkable.

I would first warn you, as I've said. getting to the place will be quite exhausting, those who are not good with walking for at least a kilometer or few will not enjoy going here. There will be a few minutes of trekking before you get into the place, so be prepared, make sure your clothes will be up for the strenuous activity to come, and always bring a good amount of hydration. Once you arrived at the place, as I've said earlier, the place will give a sight of truly remarkable beauty, a gem you will not see on other places easily. The management there told us that the amount of people going to the place vary from day to day. There times when the place was really full, and there are times when you can easily get a table.. err in this case a raft to enjoy their food. In our part, we had a prior booking for a visit, that's why there were no problems regarding queuing and waiting, and if ever you would plan to go to the place, I suggest you do the same.

I hadn't got the chance to photograph our food during our dine in the place for I was too busy hoarding everything everything into my mouth, the trip going there really put a toll on my energy and especially on my appetite. Once we've finish eating and spent a couple of minutes resting and taking in the food we ate, we finally decide to swim around our raft. It was allowed and is actually a part of what you paid for. You will be allowed to swim, but only for a limited time for others are waiting to take their turn in renting the raft. If I can recall correctly, the number of rafts available in the place was of good amount, and can cater a lot of customers at once so do not fear that you won't enjoy the place to your hearts content. As a closing remark, I very much enjoy my adventure here in this place, and will surely be back to experience it again soon.
