Migraine headache management

Migraine is one of the most common forms of debilitating headaches in the current medical literature. It's is more prevalent in women. Age of presentation can vary from teenager years to middle age.   1. Accupressure-you can try form pressure on tip of the thumb for 30-60 seconds.

  2. Aromatherapy with peppermint oil can be helpful in some.

  3. Avoiding cheese, wine, Salty foods, carbonation and fermented foods.

  4. Try to get rest or sleep in calm dark place.

  5. Avoid bright lights.

  6. Try DEEP RELIEF roll on oil on the temples-skin over the temporal bones on the sides of the head.

  7. Yoga especially PRANAYAMA can possibly prevent it in some patients.

  8. Meditation is always helpful in managing frequent migraine sufferers.
