SPICED NUTS - A HEALTHY SNACK

SPICED NUTS

A healthy snack for pre-dinner drinks or add them to the kids' lunch box.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup of brazil nuts

1 cup of macadamia nuts

1 cup of cashew nuts

1 cup of almonds

1 teaspoon of salt flakes

1 tablespoon of smoky paprika

¼ teaspoon of chilli powder

1 garlic clove – crushed

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 ½ tablespoons of honey

METHOD

Preheat oven to 370F.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

In a frypan over a low flame, combine oil, honey, garlic, chilli, paprika, and salt.

Add nuts, be sure to coat well with honey mix.

Pour and spread on the baking tray.

Bake for about 15 minutes.

Let them cool completely before you serve them up.
