#localguide (Sumy, Ukraine) - Walk to the centre of the city. Part 3, final (original photos).

It is worth saying that in small towns the city centre looks completely different, there's no terrible bustle and noise, on the contrary it is full of places where you can walk or just sit and relax. For this they are loved by a lot of people.

A couple of days ago I wrote about my walk in the city centre, you can read about it here https://steemit.com/localguide/@erikaflynn/localguide-sumy-ukraine-walk-to-the-centre-of-the-city-part-2

This is the last part of my story about what interesting things you can see in the center of my native city Sumy.
A wooden gazebo is one of the symbols of the city. They say it was built without a single nail.

The Lady with the umbrella (like Monet in 3D ;-)

In addition to the external beauty, the Lady have her own little secret - she's pregnant! Behind he wide clothes of the Lady's times, the belly is not immediately possible to consider but, a little closer, it becomes clear that there is a little miracle! The sculpture has its own mood, its own energy! It's like she's alive!

But it's not the most important. Here is a secret: girls have a superstition that if you rub the Lady's tummy, soon you can get the long-awaited completion in your family! Judging by how polished is the tummy (you can see on the photo) this sign really works!

A monument to sugar (Mean refined sugar).
Kids love it because the stairs you can climb to the top.

Why the sugar? Because a large piece of our city was built by entrepreneurs-sugar manufacture. They were philanthropists and donated part of their income on the development of their native city. Unfortunately, these people are now almost gone.
