Gosh, it is almost funny to read your post - as life has changed for most women and it is the man who often is the maid now.

You want him to do more housecleaning etc? Feed him soy. At least you will have another girlfriend then.

I'm sorry if you feel I am wrong not to take you seriously, maybe you have such a problem, but in most western countries, the women have negotiated that situation already, so hurry up and catch up. The only problem is...once you succeed, do not cry that men are not men anymore, since you did not like what you had.
