A Sunny day on the Lisbon Zoo!

It's Spring and the good weather has returned so we decided to go visit our friends at the Lisbon Zoo. It was warm and even the animals were chilling in the sun after the cold Winter.

The Lisbon Zoo was built in 1884 so it has its own charming feeling. There's over 2000 animals on this Zoo of over 330 different species.

From the entrance, we started walking up hill and soon enough we encountered the Primates.

Our Hippo friend was sleeping but it was a pleasure to watch him enjoy the sunny day.

The Elephants and the Giraffes also seemed happy about the recent change of weather.

We watched the Pelicans being fed, it was very nice and interactive.

The best part was the Dolphin Bay. The decoration behind reminds of an old Portuguese fishing village.

It was almost sunset so it was time to go home but before we had the chance to chill a bit with our Suricate friends enjoying the last rays of Sun on this beautiful day.

It's always a pleasure for me to visit the Lisbon Zoo. While I was growing up it helped me develop my sense of wonder while teaching me about different species and environment conservation. This days, it helps me escape the stress of the City and immerse myself on a different atmosphere.

It's always a pleasure for me to visit the Lisbon Zoo. While I was growing up it helped me develop my sense of wonder while teaching me about different species and environment conservation. This days, it helps me escape the stress of the City and immerse myself on a different atmosphere.
