2% Solution- For a More Fulfilling Life

You know how they say your wealth is the average of you 5 best friends. In other words who you choose to spend time with, you become.

What you choose to spend time on bears its fruit in one form or another.

A good example would be if you hang around someone who swears a lot, after awhile you find yourself using the f word a lot more than you normally would've. Or if someone is very critical and depressed, you walk away feeling heavy and sometimes even sick.

While on the opposite end spending time with someone who's creative, positive and full of life makes you happier or inspires you. Your outlook on life is becomes more positive.

**Everything in life is a measure of energy in one form or another. **

Every orfice in your body is used for taking in, consuming or absorbing. Take for example your mouth. You eat food, you absorb it and it literally becomes you. The same way goes for your eyes, nose ears and even you pores, which there are a million of them. What you choose to watch, hear- the kind of music you listen to, the people you're intimate with, what you eat changes you. It can either increase your vibration or decrease it. It can benefit you or not.

The things and people you come in contact with can and does, in most cases, influence your thoughts and emotions. For someone who hasn't mastered their mind and took the rein on their thoughts, (meditation is a good practice for that) it can be detrimental to their life, their health, their success in life, and even their ability to make money.

Solution 2% Rule

Since we sometimes can't avoid or ignore, nor do we have the power to control the negative forces in the world, I created the2% rule. To only spend 2% or less of your time and energy being involved, listening, reading, or speaking to that energy, wheather it's a person, an arcticle, a movie, bad demoralizing rap music, it doesn't matter what it is....2% is the limit.

It can even be something like food. Like a bag of chips. Eat only 2% of what you'd normally eat, or 2% of your whole diet in a year. I'm actually a stickler for what I consume, so it might be less for me when it comes to food.

Pack it up and leave, shut it off, shake it off, stop eating it and find something creative or constructive to do. Yes something creative and constructive is key here. That is your lifeline. You need something to bounce you out of the funk.

Get a hobby, something your passionate about, that makes you happy. Go on a walk or stroll this great beach.

I'm not saying to stick your head in the sand and pretend some stuff that needs to be adressed not to spend time addressing it. And each person has different special cases. And here's how you know that it's worth you time, energy and effort.

  • can I change it
  • do I have solutions to the problem
  • does it benefit me on the journey I walk
-will it help me become s better person
    -will I learn something
  • does it help the other person

if you can't answer Yes to any of these question... 2% is the rule. You have better fish to fry. Not literally, in my case...I don't eat fish.

There is so much we can do in this world. And we always cut ouselves short by wasting time on mundane things that just serve as a distraction to a world full of possibilies and opportunities. We tend to become less than our potential. Our mind gets clouded and cluttered with things that don't serve our greater good.

Consider this. Where attention goes, energy flows. Whatever we choose to focus our attention on that thing gains energy thus gaining power.

Rehashing the same old literature that has the same old cycle of negative connotation doesn't help anyone or anything, if there is no solution to it. In fact, we devolve as a species that way. And if there is no action taken to make those changes to fulfill that solution then we are beating a dead horse.
