There have been many discussions , debate and arguements on this topic , but havent concluded yet that , is masturbatiion good or bad ?? lets know about it .

What is masturbation ??

Masturbation is the sexual stimulation of one's own genitals for sexual arousal or other sexual pleasure , usually to the point of orgasm. The stimulation may involve hands, fingers, everyday objects, sex toys such as vibrators or combination of these.
Mutual masturbation : it is the mutual manual stimulation of the genitals between partners can be a substitute for sexual penetration. Studies have found in humans both sexes and all ages , although there is variation. Various medical and psychological benefits have been attributed to a healthy attitude towards sexual activity in general and to masturbation in particular. No casual relationship is known between masturbation and any form of mental or physical disorder

Do most people masturbate ??

Lots of people masturbate even if they don't talk talk about it , it's common for people of any gender or age to do it. Even before puberty, children sometimes discover that touching their genitals feels good . If you have kids and notice them touching their genitals , let them know that masturbating is completely normal, but something they should do in private.
People masturbate for different reasons - it helps them relax , they want to understand their body better , they want to release sexual tension, or their partner isn't around. But most people masturbate because it feel good. Many people think that masturbation is only something you do when you don't have a sex partner. But both single people and people in relationships masturbate.
Some people masturbate often , others rarely, and some people don't masturbate at all. Masturbation is totally personal decision, and there's no
"normal" way to go about it .

Is masturbation healthy ??

You may have heard some crazy things about masturbation being bad for you, like it makes you grow hair in weird places; it causes infertility; it shrinks your genitals; or once you start masturbating you'll become addicted to it. Masturbation isn't unhealthy for you at all until you are doing it toooo much , even too much water is unhealthy. so masturbation becomes unhealthy when its done more than it should be done. Masturbation can actually be good for your health, both mentally and physically. And it's pretty much the safest sex out there - there's no risk of getting pregnant or getting an STD.
When you have an orgasm , your body release endorphins , which are hormone that block pain and makes you feel good. The good feelings that accompany an orgasm happen whether you 're by yourself or having sex with a a partner.

Advantages of Masturbation :

Plenty of research has shown the health benefits if masturbation. they are ;
i. Masturbation reduces tension in both male and females.
ii. It makes you feel light and reduces stress.
iii. It helps you sleep better.
iv. It prevents a guy from being sick due to too much sperm deposit.
v. It improves your self esteem and sex image .
vi. It reduces the rate of horny feelings.
vii. It helps a single partner to achieve desires without other one.
viii It satisfies both male and female sexually.
xi. It reduces sexually transmitted diseases.
x. It cools an aroused body.
xi. It is the best way of collection of sperm when running a sperm count analysis.
xii. It helps in concentrating other things than sex.
xiii. It relieves menstrual cramps and muscle tension.
xiv. It strengthen muscle tone in your pelvic and anal areas.

Masturbation also helps you figure out what you like sexually. Where do you want to be touched ?? How much pressure feels good? How fast or how slow? Learning how to have orgasms on you own can make it easier to have one with a partner , because you can tell or show them what feels good. And when you're comfortable with sex, your body , and talking to your partner, you're more likely to feel comfortable protecting yourself against STD's and pregnancy.

How much masturbation is too much ??

Masturbation is only healthy when it is done within limits. When limits are crossed it becomes unhealthy . Some people masturbate often - every day, or more than once a day. Some people masturbate closer to once a week, once every a few weeks, or every now and then . Some people never masturbate and that's fine too. All of these are perfectly normal.

Masturbation only becomes "too much" if it gets in the way of your job, your responsibilities , or your social life . If that's a problem for you, you may want to talk to a counselor or the therapist.
Some people learn when they're young that masturbating is wrong or bad , so they feel guilty about doing it. If you feel that way , try to remember that most people masturbate . i. It is serious sin in holy book bible.
ii. It makes penis or dick to get weak when used in the body of a woman.
iii. It makes see too many veins around penis , thereby making it unattractive.
iv. It causes infection in females.
v. It decreases the capacity of producing sperm.
vi. It makes a man moan. Suffer and starve for real sex during the period of masturbation.
vii. It weakens the womb in females thereby not enabling the womb to carry a child which leads to abortion.
viii. It can make a woman to loose her virginity.
ix. It causes sperm disability which leads to abnormal children (in fewer cases).

But there are 2 main disadvantages of masturbation that has been commonly seen .

1) Masturbation and guilt:

Some people may feel guilty about masturbating because of cultural , spiritual or religious belief . Masturbation is neither wrong or immoral, but you may still hear message that self pleasure is "dirty" and "shameful". If you feel guilty ever masturbating , speak with someone you trust about why you feel this way and how you can move past that guilt. There are also therapists that specialize in sexual health and may be a good resource..

2) Addiction to masturbation

Some people can and do become addicted to masturbating. You may be spending too much time masturbating if masturbation causes you to :
i. skip your chores and daily activities.
ii. miss work or school.
iii. cancel plans with friends and family.
iv. miss important social events.

Being addicted to masturbation can have a negative impact on your relationships and other parts of your life . Masturbating too much may interrupt your work or studies which can lower your productivity . It may also hurt your relationships and friendships because you don't spend as much time with your loved ones as you used to , or don't pay attention to their needs.
If you're worried you may be addicted masturbation . speak with your doctor or a counselor about ways to cut down on masturbating . Talk therapy can help you manage your addiction. You could also cut down by replacing masturbation with other activities. Next time you have an urge to masturbate , try :
i. Going for a run.
ii. Writing in a journal.
iii. Spending time with friends.
iv. Going for walk.
