Changes in Time

When I was little, whenever we visit tourist spots here in Baguio, you will be at awe at how beautiful nature is. However, when we visited there yesterday, I noticed that almost half of the mountains were already filled with houses.

I guess this is one sign that the economy here in Baguio is booming. But like what is usually said...

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

It saddens me that the amount of trees here are slowly decreasing due to the erection of more houses, condominiums, and the like.

This may seem like a offensive post to some others but growing up here, I cannot help but to feel sad that my/our little hometown is slowly loosing its beauty.

Is Closing the Doors of Baguio to tourist the answer?

Almost all of us now may know about the closing of Boracay to tourist for 6 months for its rehabilitation, now it is being debated if Baguio should be next?

Well I think it would be the best option for the city to reciprocate and once again regain it's old beauty although many establishment would be greatly affected if done so.

I am just hoping and praying that it would not be too late before we realise what we are slowly loosing...

We have to step up and do our part in preventing this from happening...

Thank you for reading my short rant.
