Canada Day Celebrations!

Happy 150th Canada!

This year we decided to change things up a little and kept it to a smaller celebration. In years past we have usually gone to sandy beaches and cracked a cold one with a large group of old and new friends, and headed back to someones house for a BBQ and a night full of laughter and a competitive drinking game to end off the night.

For this years celebrations, Lacey and I relaxed in the hot tub with 2 close friends telling horror stories from past work places, telling jokes and sipping away on whatever drink we had at that point in the night.

After we got dried off from the tub we all were feeling a little hungry and decided to grab a bite at a near restaurant. Lacey stuck with her usual poutine with pulled pork added to it. I had yet another burger; two thick juicy paddy's, tomato, lettuce, cheese and of course a few slices of bacon.

Once we got back to the house I started to light a fire, and as soon as we got the fire going and all the chairs placed around it, it started to rain on us. We quickly packed all the chairs and marshmallows away and safely put out the fire and all sat down and watched a movie together.
