Lampuuk beach
One of the most severely affected beaches of the 2004 tsunami was Lampuuk beach. The beach, known as the prima donna of Aceh tourism is actually not located in Banda Aceh but Aceh Besar, it's just a location close enough from Banda Aceh that is about 20 kilometers away.
Lampuuk beach is perfect for surfing spot because the sea waves are quite fast. Wear turtle or turtle conservation, at Lampuuk Beach is the place.

Aceh History Museum
Aceh History Museum is located on Alauddin Mahmud Syah road, Banda Aceh. Founded during the reign of the Dutch East Indies on 31 July 1915 by the Aceh Civil and Military Governor General H.N.A Swart.
The building style of this museum is typical and synonymous with the traditional home of Aceh or better known as Rumoh Aceh. A collection of Aceh-based objects can be found in this museum, one of the most popular and popular phenomenal collections of this museum is a 1400-year-old bell. The bell, named 'Cakra Donya bell' is a gift given by the Chinese emperor of the Ming dynasty to Sultan Pasai in the 15th century.
Aceh Tsunami Museum
The Aceh Tsunami Museum was opened in 2009 and was purposefully built to commemorate the story of the Aceh tsunami, the tsunami victims and the rewards of the countries that contributed to the recovery of the period. Aceh Tsunami Museum is also used as a center for research and learning about the tsunami disaster and also serve as an evacuation center if one day this unwanted disaster back again.
In addition to the magnificent, beautiful buildings in the architect Kang Emil has many meanings of each landscape. For example, when entering this stage-style museum building you have to pass through a narrow and dark passage between two towering water walls. Through this design as if - Kang Emil invites us to feel the tense atmosphere when the tsunami occurred.
This building consists of four floors, on the ceiling of this building you will see many flags of countries that helped Indonesia in post-tsunami recovery, this is a symbol of appreciation given to them.
