Yesterday was a big deal in the world of Munzee. If you do not know what Munzee is, then it is about time you discovered an extraordinary hobby for the entire family. This "game" is a geolocation game based on QR codes. QR code stickers are deployed into public spaces, such as on the backs of signs or on lamp post skirts. Other "hunters" seek the ones deployed by other players.
We had a large gathering of players at an event in Yorba Linda, CA. This event was called Munzee Madness 7. People from all over made their way here. It was really fun to see people I do not get to see that often. One of the MHQ (Munzee HQ) employees attended as well. MHQ is in McKinney, Texas. We had a person come in from Australia, which was the longest journey to the event.
There were so many Munzees available to be captured. In a really good day, I will earn around 3,000 points. Yesterday, I earned 102,000! It was clearly my best day ever and may not be matched in the future. I earned around 6 badges as well.
