From November 30 to January 13 we have a polar night - at this time the sun does not rise from behind the horizon and it is not visible. As the city is surrounded by mountains, in fact the sun we do not see for 3 months. This is a very difficult time for a person, both physically and psychologically.
The appearance of the "first sun" is a big holiday, one can say as the beginning of a new life. In other regions people do not notice this, but for us this is very important. This gives strength and new hope ... of course, until the end of the winter for a long time, but with the advent of the sun it will be faster.
