#12: Bluebell Forest 2018 (Halle, Belgium)
A few weeks ago when I posted some photos of the Bluebell Forest (Life in Europe #8: Bluebell Forest (Halle, Belgium)), I said I'd post again when the Bluebells become fully bloom (only in bloom for 2 weeks in late April). Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to go back to Belgium as I'm stuck in Berlin right now... So.., I missed it. The magical 2-week window has now ended. ðŸ˜
I've been there every year to witness the blue-purple carpet upon the forest floor... so I was really gutted. BUT!! my friends in Belgium sent me some photos, which I'd like to share with you today. (I've their permission :))
I found someone posting a video from my favourite forest on a daily basis, so-called Bluebell Forest Webcam. I'm so thankful for this mysterious 'youtuber'... Here's the one filmed when it was in full bloom (20 April 2018). The video quality is superb.
I cannot wait to go back to this forest when the Bluebells are blooming again...
