Good post. In my opinion it’s not always greed that causes people to make these kinds of bad financial decisions. A lot of the time it’s desperation. So many people have big dreams and want to legitimately make a better life for themselves and their family. They end up listening to the wrong advice and betting the farm. Common sense goes out the window.
