Allow myself to introduce...myself lol

HELLO STEEM FAM!!

Finally got approved, so I figure I'd make an introductory post, as it seems to be the tradition here...

So where does one begin?

Well, first I'd like to give a shoutout to @jerrybanfield - I was monitoring STEEM on poloniex for quite some time. His post on steemit at the start of the month finally convinced me to take the plunge, and since then we've been killin' it on the trade index. But enough about that...

I hail from the great white north... Canada (Toronto, more specifically) is where I call home.

I like to consider myself an entrepreneur - I've got several ventures on the go, but i find myself identifying the most with my dance music labels Black Sunset and Monolith Records... Music, self-expression and just good vibes in general is what I'm about at my core. (ill make a post about how i started them in the future).

We make trance and progressive house. Black Sunset is actually the largest trance label in Canada, as it stands...

Im going to brag a little bit here because im so proud of my team, ready?
We got signed as a sub-label to Armada last august!! Anyone that knows trance knows how awesome this is, and we carry the flag proudly! But ya anyway...

This is me, looking as triumphant as possible:

Most of my days are either spent in the studio creating, in the library at University of Toronto studying to finish my Philosophy/Bioethics undergrad, or doing some sort of fitness/martial arts (power lifting/bodybuilding, krav maga/kickboxing/muay thai/bjj). I believe that it is essential to work on the mind/body/spirit equally, every single day, in order to become your best self.

I would consider myself fairly weird, seeing as my taste in things are often very eclectic and counter-culture in comparison to the people I hang around with, but I love it - BEING WEIRD GIVES ME AN EDGE lol or at least i like to tell myself. You never know what the weird kid is going to do...

Hmm, what else? I dont watch television, or listen to the radio since I try to avoid pop culture influence as much as possible. I seek out the truth of information on the web as best as I can (as should you all?)

I am an anime fan.I watch mostly for their complex representations of biopsychosocial ideas and issues, as well as their exploration of space and depth of setting that live action films/shows couldn't possibly show. Their ability to relate and embody philosophy down to a personified cartoon level amazes me...

And ya, for the sake of keeping and making friends, I will avoid discussing religion, politics or sexuality lol...

Not really sure what else to say at the moment other than that I look forward to being an active member in this community and that i'm glad that I could share this little part of me with you today.

***this is the first blog ive ever written... go easy lol. I gave up on proper punctuation half way through...***

Thank you all for taking the time to read this guys,

Cheers!
