All NDE experiences and narratives I've read and heard have a common vein of the experiencer transforming from their old selves before the experience to a much better personage - more loving, caring and quite ready on helping others. Some even acquire some kind of skill, talent, gift or abilities that they use for benefit or help to others. My wife of a second marriage and before our marriage, after an NDE, turned into a healer that help many afflicted and sick people. For refusing to accept payment from healed individuals, she soon felt deprivation on her six kids, from a baby to the elder ones of grade school ages. Through her own prayer and intercession the ability stopped after several months and she got back to full time mother and sole breadwinner for her kids.
