Newspaper Chain?

Since blockchains are basically immutable read-only databases, last night before bed, I was thinking to myself, wouldn't it be nice to archive all the newspapers into a chain, it's got to be better than those microfilms.

Anyway, feel free to steal this idea, I don't know how you could monetize it or anything, just it would be nice if the news was archived for easy reference and never have to worry about library fires or anything of the sort.
