You decided to take a closer inspection of the trail you found. While it is a hundred feet or so away from where you are on the beach. There is no mistake that it is not naturally occurring. It however did look a little more overgrown than you thought it did once you got a closer look at it.

You decide to follow it. It had to have gone on for several miles. It is a good thing there are so many hours of daylight on this moon. You were not quite certain where you would end up. As you went deeper and deeper into the forest the canopy of the trees got thicker letting in less light as you walked further in.

You also started to notice just how unusual the walk ended up being. If you ever went hiking up a mountain you know what I’m talking about. It looks like you are quite close to the peak. However, as soon as you get up high enough you start to see it just keeps going on. Then you get up even further and you realize it’s even further away for quite some time till you finally get to that point where it feels like you are almost there.

That feeling that you were almost there but not kept going on for a while. On occasion, you would stop to see if there were any signs of other areas being out of place. Such as a clearing, a log, or anything. You would think whatever created this trail at some point would have needed a resting spot. You however never found one.

After walking even further you come across a fork in the trail. You can either go left or go right.
