Pom is a Surinamese oven dish. Pom is eaten as a main dish on birthdays, parties, family gatherings and other special occasions such as Easter and Christmas. It is eaten with white rice and vegetables, but also as a snack in between on bread as 'Pom sandwich'. Pom is very popular among all population groups and it has a permanent place in the Surinamese foodmenu.🇸🇷!
